Tuesdays with Tony: Staying grounded, moving forward [April 7, 2026, Issue 25]
With everything happening around us, especially across the Middle East, I find it even more necessary to stay anchored to my North Star. To what I hold onto and believe is true. No matter what. At the same time, my work continues, my conversations deepen, and ideas slowly keep taking shape. I wonder how your life has been going, and whether you are anchored to your North Star.
Guest on the 2.28% podcast
I joined Firas Mghames, CEO of Feer McQueen, the tech-driven international agency, for a conversation on their podcast 2.28%. We explored the business side of Courage to Fall and how it shows up in leadership, decision-making, and the weight of building something that matters. Watch the full podcast 👇

Decision-making session at AUB
Invited to Dr. Mona Itani's course at the American University of Beirut,I gave an online session ondecision-making for entrepreneurs. We focused on navigating decisions amid uncertainty. Students who engaged did so with intent and enthusiasm. Not sure about the others. Having been away from the classroom for a long time, I now have even more respect for faculty members who spend their time behind a screen trying to keep students engaged. Giving online sessions can be rewarding, efficient, and impactful for the professor. It can also feel disrespectful, ungrateful, and apathetic.
Being in Jodie Cox's circle
Jodie Cox helps coaches, consultants, and creators turn their approaches and content into tools that others can use. She understands how to technically build AI systems based on human conversations and coaching frameworks. Joining her program is a smart decision I've made this year. She's generous with her content, strategic in what she offers, and practical to creators like me. My ongoing journey with her and her team as I rebuild DoctorTee (my AI twin) has been rewarding and fun.
On the topic of rebuilding DoctorTee
I have a request.
DoctorTee, my AI twin, who will think, challenge, and coach the way I do, needs your input.
Are you someone who leans into adventure? Even when things are unclear? Do you push yourself hard and still question your decisions? Do you carry pressure quietly while everyone sees you as “doing well”? Do you overthink important moves even when you know you’re capable?
If that sounds like you, would you take this quick OCEAN personality test? I need it to “teach” DoctorTee. It takes 5–7 mins. And when you’re done, send me by return email a screenshot of your results. Click here for it.
Thank you!
