About the project

This project is inspired by my previous experience interviewing people, publishing their stories on a blog, and eventually publishing a book. Let’s take an upgraded approach, anchor it around my interest in falling and failing, how professionals manage both, and start a new adventure. It is an adventure with 52 interesting people sharing experiences. One experience every week. For a year. Beginning with a podcast, publishing on a blog, producing mini-cases, and a book.

Let’s make sure you’re a good fit!

  • You’re hungry for the truth
You’re ready to share your unfiltered story—the highs, the lows, the messy middles—and you believe others can grow from your experience.

  • You embrace the unknown
You know that life’s best moments come from stepping into uncertainty, and you’re open to the adventure this project offers.

  • You believe that falling isn’t failing
You see failure as feedback. As fuel. You’re done pretending and ready to explore how we all rise—again and again.

  • You’re ready for connection
You’re craving authentic conversations and deep connections with people who’ve been there, done that, and are still learning.

Why participate?

Because you’ve fallen before... and you’re still standing.
You’ve taken hits—personal, professional, maybe both. But here you are, still showing up, still curious. That deserves to be shared.

Because every fall holds a lesson.
Someone out there needs to hear your story to find their footing again. Maybe you need to hear it, too.

Because you’re ready for real conversations.
Raw, honest dialogue about the times we stumbled, what we learned, and how we rose.

Because falling doesn’t mean failing.
It’s about rewriting the stories we tell ourselves about falling.

Because you want to grow alongside 51 others.
You’ll be part of a tribe—52 brave souls, each sharing their journey, offering wisdom, strength, and support. You’re not alone.

The podcast

Fifty-two professionals will be interviewed, and the conversations will be turned into a podcast series. Each episode will provide an in-depth look at the personal and professional setbacks and challenges these professionals face, offering listeners an engaging and immersive experience. The podcast will highlight their journeys, strategies to overcome adversity, and valuable lessons learned, providing a dynamic platform for sharing insights and inspiring resilience.

blog series

A blog post will be produced from every interview highlighting the personal side of the interviewee’s story. The intention is to work “the heart” more than “the mind” of the reader. Sometimes, covering behind-the-scenes chats and filler conversations. This series will provide readers with a continuous stream of real-life examples and practical advice, emphasizing resilience and the transformative power of navigating adversity. It complements the podcast.

mini cases +
case cards

The mini-cases engage the reader's mind as they go through events and situations explained by interviewees. Mini-cases aim at uncovering pivotal moments where entrepreneurs, career professionals, or managers experienced significant setbacks in their careers or professional lives. Each mini-case study will reveal how they navigated their falls and the lessons they learned. These mini-cases provide a diverse and detailed exploration of resilience, offering readers a valuable perspective on overcoming adversity and turning setbacks into opportunities for growth. It is expected that the mini-cases will fall into some framework as they can live as a standalone and also fit into a framework.

The Faller Archetype

We experience moments of falling, be it in our personal lives, careers, or relationships. A "faller archetype" encapsulates a pattern of behavior, mindset, and coping mechanisms that individuals tend to exhibit when facing life challenges, setbacks, or when they fall.

Discovering your faller archetype will uncover valuable information about your coping mechanisms, level of resilience, and personal strengths. The knowledge you gain and the practicality of this tool will support your journey in personal growth, self-improvement, self-discovery, empowerment, and resilience.

We expect that The Faller Archetype would be incorporated into the overall “Courage to Fall” framework.

The Framework

The Courage to Fall Framework is a five-stage tool that breaks down the fall-and-rise process into clear, actionable steps—helping individuals and teams navigate disruption with more awareness, resilience, and intention.

This is a structured roadmap for navigating personal and professional setbacks.
It’s built on two core ideas:

  1. Falling is not a single moment—it’s a multi-phase experience.

  2. Every individual reacts differently, depending on their mindset and patterns.

The book

We see a Courage to Fall book being produced from this project. We will likely incorporate the knowledge we acquired from the interviews, their publications, and the Faller Archetype framework. By blending these narratives with the archetypes, the book offers a rich, practical exploration of resilience and growth. Readers will better understand how each archetype responds to challenges, providing valuable lessons and inspiration for overcoming their setbacks.

What to expect

You can expect a one-hour session with Tony, during which the conversation will be recorded. After the session, you'll have the chance to review and approve the output to ensure it meets your expectations. Any necessary revisions will be made before delivering the final content. A follow-up will be scheduled if needed to address any further questions or support.
