Tuesdays with Tony: Lessons from the in-between [October 7, 2025, Issue 19]

I am in the process of figuring out what interests you as a reader as I attempt to strike a balance between the creative personal stories (à la Tuesdays at Starbucks), my business coaching material, and my maturing "The Courage to Fall" project.

I appreciate your patience as I work to ensure that this newsletter brings value to you on the first Tuesday of every month. "Tuesdays with Tony" is a work in progress. So is he.

"The Courage to Fall" self-assessment

Formerly known as The Faller Archetype Quiz, this project is in its second round of refinement and validation.

The questionnaire is designed to help you understand how you typically respond to setbacks. Think of it as a way to name the emotional patterns you move through when things don’t go as planned.

I invite you to take the self-assessment. I am confident that you'll learn something new.

👉 [Take the Assessment]

It takes about 15 minutes. Your honest answers will help shape and improve the tool for everyone who uses it in the future. And I thank you for that.

After the fall: A conversation worth returning to

Once you’ve taken the Courage to Fall assessment and received your result, I’d love for you to listen to this companion episode.

It’s hosted by two AI voices (Hala & Rami), but the ideas and structure behind it come directly from the work I’ve been building. It explores the Faller Archetypes, the emotional patterns that underlie how we navigate setbacks, and why understanding these patterns can shift the way we respond to challenges.

You’ll hear reflections on each archetype: how they fall, how they resist, and how they rise. If you’re curious about your result or want to make more sense of your experience, this episode will surely help.

Between Saudi and Beirut: Lessons from the in-between

Commuting between Saudi Arabia and Lebanon has quietly shaped how I work, think, and pause. Loving it. The contrast teaches me to listen more closely. To space, to pace, to people. I’ve learned to hold two speeds at once, to carry stillness in motion, and to stay rooted while moving often. Flexibility became a mindset, not just a schedule. And most of all, I’ve learned that clarity can come when you're somewhere in between.

A small book for when you need a shift

If you haven’t seen it yet, I put together Tony’s Little Big Book of Quotes, a quiet collection of lines that have stayed with me over the years. Some are mine, some are borrowed. All are honest. Flip through when your mind is full or your day screams for a pause.
