Tuesdays with Tony: From stuck to decided and a little more [February 3, 2026, Issue 23]
From Stuck to Decided webinar
I meet many people stuck in decisions or the lack of them. Some include business moves, others describe personal crossroads. The details are different, but the feeling is always the same: tension, hesitation, circling, overthinking, then silence. Most decisions are made under emotional pressure, urgency, doubt, instinct, and the noise that comes with being human.
If this is the year you want to choose better, not faster, I've created a webinar for you. I'd like to help you make the best decision given your current circumstances. You’ll come out with a clearer way to decide, one that honors what matters to you and gives you the confidence to move forward. Details coming your way soon.
The Courage to Fall Podcast
Real stories. Honest reflections. The Courage to Fall podcast explores how we navigate setbacks and what we learn along the way.
Field Notes from Lebanon
This month, Numou Education Center's CEO, Ashraf, and I spent time on the road, across Lebanon. We walked into studios, workshops, and learning spaces that are shaping the future in ways that are deeply local and unmistakably human.
At Lebanese Alternative Learning, we saw how early childhood learning is being reimagined with care. At Creative Space Beirut, we saw how design becomes more powerful when it remains accessible. At Bokja, the conversation around craft and storytelling felt aliveand bold. We sat withSamer Aouadand Boutros Sawaya, both reshaping how ceramics and glass (Your glass blowers) are taught and made. Maya Fidawishared her art and her passionfor teaching it. At AUB, we explored the makerspace and how academic environments can better connect with real-world making. Imapel Leathershowed us how furniture can serve both function and feel. With Damj (Whard Sleiman), we explored wood as both curriculum and expression, another example of how learning moves through the hands. AtBeaver, we saw how STEAM kits can power projects and learning.
Each visit offered a lens into the creator's soul. We felt the care, creativity, and possibilities.

It was a pleasant evening attending the talk at The Freedom Road, hosted by Patricia Audrey Hakim, who spoke withRudy Shoushanyabout AI, technology, and Rudy's book. I got an autographed copy!
Goodbye Jimmy Semaan
A father, a husband, and a friend to many. I wish I knew Jimmy better. The church-packed memorial mass was moving, emotional, and abundant with peace and love. Humanity at its best. The human that he was.
If you're still reading,
This week is my 63rd birthday. Born in 1963 + 63 = 2026. I like numbers :). I usually let this day slide by. Today, I learn to pause and celebrate the small and the big milestones.
As a child, I waited to get the toy :). Typically, an assembly kit: wood, metal (Mechano), a radio (Hameg), a boat, a plane, a train, or an automobile (Revell).
Today, I'm thinking of the gift of presence. If you're available to connect and feel like giving, can you take 6.3 minutes to talk? That's 740 seconds :). I promise to be present. No multitasking: checking other messages, eating, running errands, or driving. Nothing. I'll sit in a quiet place and connect with you. Who knows, maybe we can learn something from each other. Peace.
